This morning I weighed in at something between nine stone and two pounds. I am a bra size 36E (which made me cry last time I was hanging around in the La Senza fitting room, although I insist that those are just small sizes . . .) a top size 12 (due to the aforementioned ‘Monster Breasts’ as I so fondly refer to them), my waist is about a ten (in the shops where they are fair to womens’ figures. Meaning NOT Topshop, as much as I love it) although I still buy a size 12 in anything which is going on my hips, not so much because they are wide, but because I got a lotta junk in da trunk, if y’all know what I’m sayin’! As a little shortie, I am only five foot one, which I think means that my BMI is 24.4 (only 0.5 less than ‘overweight’!!!) Considering I am only 19, this is no good. Plus, what happens when I go on my spa weekend with my lovely boyfriend on the 11th of September? I am sure I will beast out at the breakfast, lunch and three-course dinner included, so am I supposed to take as a given that upon my return I will be considered medically overweight? No. That’s it. I’m taking a stand and getting on the Special K 2 Week Kick-Start diet plan. And that’s final.
I downed a glass of water and just ate a Special K bar; 88 calories of fibrous goodness. Yum. This is day one of the diet, and as usual I have high hopes and big plans of how this is going to be the diet that changes me. I have intentions of running/walking for 30 minutes, and would like to complete Billy Blanks Abs Workout on YouTube every day. If it is raining outside, I have three choices, running on the spot (as I have done only once before which absolutely KILLED my calves), going up and down the stairs at fast pace, or dancing ‘nasty’ (insert booty pop here) for 30 minutes.
As well as doing the Special K thang and exercising like a body-builder, I’m going to be having a mug of the Herbalife ‘mingy tea’. This promises that ‘the more you drink the more you shrink’ so we’ll see about that.
Joining me on this diet is my little Skinny Malinky sister Meewps, although she so does not need it. Then again, I’m just glad to not be going through this on my own, so happiness! She’s even said she’ll join me on the exercise front, but I’ll believe it when I see it.
I must go to the Co-op at some point today to fetch a mountain of fruit and veg, plus more Special K – I won’t get very far without that! Realistically I should walk to the Co-op since it is only a 15 minute walk away, but I’m not sure if I will . . . since I’ll be doing all the other exercise and whatnot . . . Who am I trying to kid? I’m just being lazy. Right, I’ll make a pact with myself. If Meewps says she’ll come with me, then I’ll walk, if not then I won’t. Deal.
I'll take my waist, hips and bust measurement later on, and then we will be able to see how much weight, how many inches and how many dress sizes I will drop if any. You have to understand how devoted I am to blogging that I am telling the WORLD my measurements . . . now THAT is commitment!
Anyway, wish me luck, and follow my diet on this blog, whilst I answer the age old question; does the Special K 2 Week Kick-Start diet plan ACTUALLY work?
